You’re on an island with less than 200 others, and dining at the Southern Cross Club, without question sets the bar for casual, comfortable and delicious dining. Dinner is usually an ala carte menu, often featuring local fresh caught fish including Tuna, Mahi-Mahi and Wahoo. Guests can dine in our air-conditioned dining room, on our screened outdoor dining pavilion, on the pool deck, or on the beach under that bright Caribbean Moon.

The Loggerhead Bar also offers a bar menu for when you are in the mood for something simple. We can promise you will not go home hungry.

Our Menu

As expected from a club that celebrates offering “Barefoot Elegance”, dining at the Club is one of the memorable experiences. Of course the menu changes frequently based on the availability of seafood which is the Club’s signature cuisine. To give you an idea of the Club’s daily offerings, examples of the lunch and dinner menus are offered below.

Off Property

The 200 folks on Little Cayman have to eat out on occasion, so you’ll find a couple places off-property that offer a change of dining scenery when wanderlust grabs you. More “hangouts” than necessarily dining establishments, an afternoon or evening off property offers a great opportunity to meet fellow adventure travelers and watersport enthusiasts, as well as the locals who call Little Cayman their home. Our favorites follow.

Hungry Iguana

The “Iggy” is an island favorite. You can dine inside the marine themed restaurant/bar or choose to enjoy your meal on the covered waterfront patio deck. The regular menu features Caribbean speciaties (conch chowder, grilled fish, and lobster) and a wide selection of sandwiches, salads, burgers, Curries, and Italian dishes. Don’t miss Pizza Night on Saturdays, when the entire island seems to show. The ‘Iggy’ is open for lunch from 12 noon until 2:30pm and for dinner from 6pm to 9pm.

Pirates Point

The Texas owner of this restaurant and resort is a cookbook author and chef, trained under famed culinarians Julia Child, James Beard and Jacques Pepin. As you would expect, food here is a serious proposition. Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, Pirates Point is open to off-property guests with advance reservations. Dining takes place both indoors in the air-conditioned restaurant and outdoors on the patio overlooking the pool and grounds.
