Lake Kissimmee State Park
Lake Kissimmee State Park is located across the street from the Resort’s entrance. At the Park, experience Florida’s cowboy heritage that comes alive with the living history of demonstrations of the early Florida “cow hunters”. In an 1876 era cow camp. White tailed deer, bald eagles, sandhill cranes, turkeys, and bobcats have been seen in the park. Visitors can enjoy boating canoeing, and fishing in the park and nature students can hike over 13 miles of trails.
Discover the “Old Florida Charm” visiting downtown Lake Wales along with the historic Bok Sanctuary. Bok Sanctuary gardens are open 365 days a year and boast “must see” scenery and architecture. The Singing Tower and gardens provide ideal backdrops for family picnics or when dining at the café. Also enjoy bird watching, geocaching and photographic opportunities while trail hiking.
LEGOLAND is located in winter Haven only 30 miles from Camp Mack and is great for kids ages 2-12. It is 150- acre theme park with more than 50 rides, shows and attractions inspired by popular LEGO brands and characters, LEGOLAND Water Park, and a world famous botanical garden.
Families can enjoy a quick city adventure to Orlando, which is less than 45 miles from Camp Mack. Here you can pick from several theme parks to visit including Disney World, Magic Kingdom, Universal Parks, or Gatorland. It also is a fun to experience Orlando’s arts and culture, shopping, spas restaurant and dining shows while vising the city.
